Government investigates fraudulently run companies - O'Neill Property Edinburgh


It seems that O'Neill Property Edinburgh are having important problems due to unpaid taxes with the government

I am pleasantly surprised about the news. I hope this case be an example for other companies that do not take care of their customers.

On 4 December 2013, a petition was presented to Edinburgh Sheriff Court by the Advocate General for Scotland for and on behalf of the Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs craving the Court inter alia to order that O’neill Limited, c/o Sayer Burnett, 43-45 Circus Lane, Edinburgh, EH3 6SU (registered office) be wound up by the Court and to appoint a liquidator.

All parties claiming an interest must lodge Answers with Edinburgh Sheriff Court, 27 Chambers Street, Edinburgh within 8 days of intimation, service and advertisement.

John Knapp, office manager of O'Neill lettings agency Edinburgh



It seems another tenant have had problems with O'neill letting agency Edinburgh.

In this case they put tenants´ life risk due a problem with a boiler.

John Knapp, office manger of O'Neill lettings doesn't seem to care about lethal electrical wiring and dangerous gas appliances in O'Neill rental properties. In this video, you'll watch him ask a gas engineer if a boiler can be put back to a dangerous state.


The tenant of this property was exposed to risk of electrocution for over two years, despite tradesmen used by O'Neill certifying the appliance was safe.


Seven weeks after this video was made, O'Neill had still not fixed the boiler so the tenant had no choice but to move out.

How o'neill letting agency in Edinburgh do business ?


 I would like to report of abusive and unfair behaviour by O’Neill Property letting agency in Edinburgh .6 North West Circus Place Old Town Edinburgh EH3 6ST, United Kingdom.
Our leaving date was agree after the agency had found a new tenant. Surprisingly   I was charged £194.82 due to a change in the entry date of the new tenants
I was not responsible for as the issue was in connection with obtaining the new tenants’ references…
The Agency never advise us of this charge  and they deducted it directly from the deposit.
I tried several times to speak to Mr Ralph Weird  (senior stuff) who continuouslyavoided my calls, In fact I spent more than £20 in mobile call without success.
I named Mr Ralph  because he took the decision and nobody in the office couldn´t change it.
This review comes as a result of my disappointment with Oneill letting agency and intents to being awareness and warn potential tenants about their abusive and unfair behaviour by the Agency O´neill and the lack of professionally of Mr Raplh.
As a tenant we spent 10 months in the flat and we pay all the bills in time every month and therefore we fulfil all our obligations as tenants.
I have all the documentation to back up this review, find attach
O´neill´s notification according to our last day of tenancy was  5/10/2012: (26 of setember)
